From the Charleroi Mail, Newspaper, Charleroi PA, Jan. 2, 1957, page unknown:

Child of Former Fayette City Resident Victim

The two-year-old daughter of a former Fayette City man, William TREZISE, Jr., died of pneumonia in Good Samaritan Hospital, Lexington, Ky., as a result of an auto accident in which she was riding with her parents and grandmother skidded on an icy road, turned over and landed in a creek in Lexington, it was learned today.

The parents were unable to get their daughter, Linda Kay [TREZISE], out of the partially submerged car in time and she was drenched.  She died 24 hours later.

TREZISE, his wife and daughter, and his wife's mother, Mrs. Kate CROCKETT, were en route to their home in Nashville, Tenn., after spending the Christmas holidays with TREZISE['s] parents, Dr. and Mrs. William E. TREZISE, of Fayette City.

Mrs. CROCKETT was slightly injured, according to reports received in Fayette City.  TREZISE and  his wife were drenched but escaped injury.

The accident occurred early Sunday morning, Dr. TREZISE said.  Linda Kay [TREZISE] will be buried in Nashville.
