Valentino G. ROTA, 66, of Clarksville, Pa., died suddenly of a [heart
attack] in his home __ 11, 1967, at 11:15p.m. [He was] born December 12 ___,
___ ___ Ponte Dilegno, Italy, [son of] the late Battista and
____ RIZZI ROTA. His wife, _____ DORGUZZI ROTA, whom [he married] May 16,
1934, survives.
Mr. ROTA was a bricklayer and [contractor] and for many [years was]
engaged in the ROTA [Construction] Company, of Clarksville, with his
brother, ______.
[Mr. ROTA was] a member of the St. _____ Roman Catholic Church,
Clarksville, and a member of the Washington Bricklayers ______.
Mr. ROTA was presently serving [as] president of the Clarksville
Borough Council. _____, are two sons, _______, of 7408 Essex Avenue,
_______, Va., and William _______ 411 1/2 College Street, __________, W.

ROTA - Friends of Valentino G. ROTA, of Clarksville, who died Tuesday, July 11,
1967, will be received in the Lucas and
Behm Funeral Home, Jefferson, where short prayer services will be held
Saturday at 9:30 a.m., followed by requiem high mass at the St. Thomas Roman
Catholic Church, Clarksville, in charge of Rev. George A JURICA. Burial
in Greene County Memorial Park Cemetery.
