Nancy S. Powell - Mrs. Nancy S. Powell, 39, of Marianna R. D. 1, died
Friday, May 24, 1985, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile
accident near Ten Mile.
She was born November 28, 1945, in Chicago, Ill., a daughter of Dr. Horace
and Marjorie Petersen Scheetz of Waukegan, Ill., who survive.
Mrs. Powell was a graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn., and
of California University of Pennsylvania.
She was employed as an administrator for the American Heart
Association.
A former resident of California, Pa., Mrs. Powell had been a resident of
Marianna for the past seven years. She was Protestant.
On June 20, 1970, she married Dr. Ray R. Powell, who survives.
Surviving, in addition to her husband and parents, are two sons, Tyler and
Zachary at home; a brother, Steven Scheetz of Arlington Heights, Ill.; a sister,
Mrs. Astrid Martindale of Waukegan, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
