Condolence Resolutions for Richard Jenion 1914

Resolutions of Condolence

On the death of Brother Richard JENION [?] of Tom Bowling Lodge No. 366, Order Sons of St. George, Charleroi, Pa.

Whereas: It has pleased Almighty God in His infinite wisdom to remove from our roll of membership our beloved Brother Richard JENION who was called away on February 28, 1914, by whose death Tom Bowling Lodge has lost a faithful and diligent member.

Therefore, be it Resolved:  That we tender to his bereaved widow and family our sincere and heartfelt sympathy in this their hour of sorrow and bid them take comfort in the thought that where he has gone there will be no more pain or suffering, and look up to Him who says:
"Come unto me all ye who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest."
Lord, not my will but thine be done.

And be it further Resolved: That these resolutions be spread on the minutes of the Lodge, a copy presented to the family of our departed Brother and a copy published in the daily paper and that our Charter be draped in mourning for a period of thirty (30) days.

Signed:
Alfred Wildman  Alex. Rudolph  John W. Laverick
