Pa., Dec. 14, 1921, p. 8:
DEATH ROLL - MRS. CHARITY ELLIOTT - Amity, Dec. 14. -
Mrs. Charity Elliott, aged 91 years, widow of Sebastian Elliott, died at
the home of her daughter, Mrs. Herbert McAfee, near this place, this
morning at 7 o'clock. Her death was due to the infirmities incident to
her advanced years.
She was a daughter of the late William and Susanna Iams and had
spent her entire life in this section. She was a member of the Amity
Methodist Protestant church. She is survived by the following children:
Mrs. Lixxie [sic - Lizzie ?] McAfee, of near Amity; Mrs. Evie Frazee, of
Lone Pine; William Elliott, of Pi_ [Pie ?] Ridge, and Clark Elliott, of
Washington.
Short funeral services will be held at the McAfee home Thursday
morning at 10:30 o'clock. Further services will be held in the Amity M.
P. church at 11:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Adam Rush. The interment
will be in the M. P. cemetery.
