Transcript of the "Obituary" for MRS. JOSEPHINE O'CALLHEAN BEAL from The Observer-Reporter newspaper, Washington Co., Pa., Jan. 8, 1968, Section B [possibly page B-8]:

MRS. PAUL S. BEAL, SR. - Mrs. Josephine Beal, 80, of 441 North Washington Road, McMurray, died Saturday, January 6, 1968 in her home.
Mrs. Beal was born in Derry Bantler, County Cork, Ireland, the daughter of Jerimia and Elizabeth O'Callhean. She was a resident of Washington County more than 50 years and was a member of the Mt. Prospect Presbyterian Church of Thomas and was also a member of the Philathea Class of the Church.
Surviving are two sons, Paul S. Beal, Jr. and Oscar Beal, both of Eighty Four; three daughters, Mrs. Bertha McMurray at home, Mrs. Elizabeth Pollack of McMurray and Mrs. Mernie Patterson of Eighty Four; one sister, Mrs. Mary Hickey of Long Island, N. Y.

FUNERAL NOTICE, p. B-8:

BEAL - Friends of Mrs. Paul S. (Josephine) Beal, Sr., of 441 North Washington Road, McMurray, who died Saturday, January 6, 1968 will be received at the Robert E. Wilson Funeral Home, [205 ?] East McMurray Road, Donaldsons Crossing, Peters Township from 2-4 and 7-10 p. m. Monday. Services will be held Tuesday, January 9 at [2? or 3 ?] p. m. in the Mt. Prospect Presbyterian Church in Thomas in charge of Rev. Headley A. Burrell. Burial in the Fairview Cemetery, Thomas.
