Obituary of Miss Mary Bailey 1932

Article from The Morning Observer newspaper, Washington Co., Pa., Tues., Nov. 22, 1932, p. 2:

Miss Mary Bailey, of East Pike Run Township, Is Summoned by Death - California, Nov. 21 - Miss Mary Bailey, aged [33 ? 83? ] years, died in her home in East Pike Run Township Sunday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock.  Her death, which was due to complications, followed an illness of several months.

She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Bailey and was born in the home in which she died, having lived there all her life.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian church of California.

She leaves a sister, Mrs. Emma Harrison, of West Brownsville.  Another sister, Miss Lillian Bailey, died a year ago.

Funeral services, conducted by her pastor, Rev. John R. Burson, will be held in her late home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.

Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.
