Article from the The Reporter newspaper, Washington Co., Pa., Tues., Apr. 27, 1915, page unknown:

[a partial obituary for a Mr. CREE; the top of the Obituary was cut off during Xeroxing, but the rest is transcribed below.] - [died after being paralyzed]

Mr. Cree was in the [65th ?] year of his life. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Miss Emma Cree, at home. Three brothers, John of Arkansas City; William of Washington Pike, and Attorney James F. of Wellsburg also survive. He was a graduate of Allegheny college, at Meadville, Pa., and was a member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity.

Funeral services will be held from his late residence, on Wednesday, April [28?] at 2 p. m., conducted by Rev. Ernest Fryckland, of the Franklin M. E. church. Interment will be made in the Franklin cemetery.

Mr. Cree followed the profession of farming and was successful all through his life.

The F. M. Paxton Funeral - The funeral services of F. M. Paxton, formerly a resident of Washington, who died at his home in [Tunkhancock ??], Sunday afternoon, which were to have been held in the First Baptist church, in charge of the Rev. M. A. Gram_biel, pastor, this afternoon at 3 o'clock, will be held tomorrow afternoon at the same place and at the same hour. Owing to inability to make proper connections in bringing the body to Washington, it will not arrive here until tomorrow.
