Misc. Advertisements from The Reporter newspaper, Feb. 24, 1822, page unknown:
"SHERIFF ALTY - I offer myself as a candidate for the Office of SHERIEF [sic], at the ensuing General Election. I purpose running in place of Captain [italics] Weirich [end italics], he having declined in my favor. - H. CHESS. - February 17, 1822."

Misc. Advertisements from The Reporter newspaper, Feb. 24, 1822, page unknown:
"GOODS, Lower than the Regular Prices. The subscriber intends to remove from this place, and wishing to dispose of his present stock of GOODS; will sell for cash, below the usual prices. Purchasers are invited to call and judge for themselves.

Those indebted to me will please to pay off against the 1st of April, for after that _____ an Indiscriminate collection will be made. -- JAMES WISHART. - N. B. A quality of BACON will be received in exchange for Goods. - February 24, 1822.
