SENTENCE AUTO THIEF [sic] TO TERM

Donora, Dec 31 - MITCHELL SAVICH, Monessen, was sentenced to the workhouse for six months at a hearing here last night before Justice of the Peace JOSEPH DROBISCEWSKI, when officers charged him with automobile larceny and theft of gasoline.

Police said they were seeking a companion who was alleged to have been with SAVICH when the pair drove away from a local gasoline station without paying for 15 gallons of gasoline. The machine in which they were riding, recovered in Ella Hollow, near here, was said to have been stolen from a Pittsburgh garage.
