"Obituary" of Andrew Hopkins is as follows: "DEATH OF ANDREW HOPKINS - Andrew Hopkins, Esq., who had been in critical condition for some weeks, died at his residence in this borough at five o'clock, on Friday morning, aged about fifty-five years. He was the oldest son of the late Hon. Wm. Hopkins, and died on the seventh anniversary of his father's death. He achieved some prominence in the State as an editor, having been connected with the following named papers in the order named: The Examiner, Washington, in partnership with T. W. Grayson,; The Daily and the Weekly Union, Pittsburgh; Legal Journal, Pittsburgh; Patriot, daily, Harrisburg; Observer, Erie, Lycoming Standard, Williamsport, and the Review and Examiner, of which he was owner and publisher at the time of his death [no city listed, but the Examiner was a Washington, Pa. newspaper]. His newspaper career covered a period of thirty years, and he was well known throughout the State as a trenchant writer. He leaves a wife and two daughters.

Notice of his funeral will be found elsewhere."

NOTE: I was not looking for his funeral notice.
