Mrs. Joseph (Marie Rose) Cardille passed away Friday November 18, 1949,in the home of her daughter, Elizabeth Pepe, at Hillsville, Lawrence Co. Mrs. Cardille was born 10 Sep 1872 at Coggiano, Italy, to John and Maria Cafero. The Cafero family came to this country in 1887,settling first in Leetonia, Ohio, and then in Lawrence County. The Cardille family has lived in Farrell since 1903. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and son John. She is survived by daughters Jeanette Pepe, Elizabeth Cerroni, Cecelia Orlando, Madeline, and sons William and Thomas, and many grandchildren. The funeral will be Monday November 21 with burial at St. Anthonys Cemetery, Farrell. Submitted by Norris Burdette
