Joseph Guadagno Cardille,77,died at his home at 341 Hamilton Ave, Farrell on Tuesday, May 13 1941. Mr. Cardille was born 18 Dec 1863,in Italy, to Dominic and Pasqualino Guadagno. He changed his name to Cardille after coming to this country in 1892. He married Marie Rose Cafero in 1894 in Lawrence County, Pa. He had his own grocery store in Farrell for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents and son John. He is survived by his wife, brother Angelo, sons Dominic Thomas, William, and daughters Jeanette Pepe, Elizabeth Cerroni, Cecelia Orlando, and Madeline, and many grandchildren. The burial will be Friday, May 16,1941,at St. Anthonys Cemetery in Farrell.
