  Claud L. Reznor 

Claud Reznor aged 50 years, one of the prominent citizens of Mercer died at his home after an illness of leakage of the heart of about four months. Mr. Reznor is survived by his widow, two sons, Fred and Claud, (sic) one daughter, Dorothy, his mother, Mrs. George Reznor, two brothers, Foster and Jesse, three sisters, Mrs. Stella Webster, Mrs. Martha Moore all of Mercer and Mrs. Nan Blatt of Cleveland.


Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday afternoon, interment will be made in the mausoleum at Mercer.

Claud L. Reznor aged 51 years died at his residence on South Otter St. Tuesday morning of affection of the heart after an illness of several months. The eldest son of Alice and the late George Reznor, he was born and spent the greater part of his life in Mercer. For a number of years he engaged in the jewelry and drug business in Sharon and other towns, but about a year ago returned to this place and untill ill health forced his retirement he was connected to the Reznor Manufacturing Company. He was a man of genial disposition and many fine qualities and had a host of friends who will learn of his death with deep regrets. He is survived by his wife, two sons, George of Hubbard, Ohio, and Fred, with the American Expeditionary Force in France, one daughter, Dorothy at home, his mother and the following brothers and sisters, J.T., G.F. and Mrs. Stella Webster of Mercer, mrs. J. L. Blatt of Cleveland and Mrs. E. H. Moore of Youngstown. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock conducted by Rev. Dr. John C. Duncan and the body was placed in the Mercer cemetary.
