MCCAULEY Family
My gg-grandfather Samuel McCauley left Lebanon in 1837 after
serving an apprentiship at metalworking (tinsmith?), possibly
with a relative with the last name of Spang. Samuel ended up
near St.Joseph, MO, in 1840, married and raised a family there.
Anyone with info on this family and/or the parents of
George kindly contact me at jmccauley@earthlink.net.
Thanks.
