The extreme southwestern corner of Pennsylvania, Greene County, is considered the cornerstone of the keystone state. Forming the dividing boundary of the Mason-Dixon Line and the Ellicott Line.

North: Washington County
East: Monongahela River separates it from Fayette County
South: West Virginia
West: West Virginia, known as the Panhandle.

The Greene County Website is looking for volunteers to type obituaries from local newspapers. We are especially looking for obituaries of anyone over 90 and born in Greene County. We will post the name, age, place of birth, parents names and date of death. This information is readily available online and it is pretty much a copy and paste.
