  • The Darby Society of Fiends present Meetinghouse (the 3rd) was built in 1805 at 1017 Main St Darby. The Meeting is in its 340th year, and we meet for Worship the first Sunday of every Month at 11:00.

    We maintain our burial ground, began in 1682 which is located between 12 & 13th and Main Sts., in Darby. It closed to public burials in 1968 and now only accommodates Darby Meeting Members.

  Carriage shed from an early period and recently repaired extensively although we have noticed no horses carrying members to meeting lately.
  
  Extensive old graveyard still in use to the back of the building. It contains the remains of some noteworthy modern people: Mildred Scott Olmstead, President of the Woman's League for Peace and Freedom (WILF): Clarence Pickett, I believe one of the founders of the Americans Friends Service Committee; and so forth.
