WILLIAM HENRY2 NICHOLS (Samuel1), born April 1828,
Pennsylvania.A,B,C He apparently resided for a brief time in Wisconsin
Territory, where at least one of his children was born about 1858. He was
a carpenter by trade. In the 1870 census his birthplace was given as
Pennsylvania;D in 1880, as
Connecticut;E and in 1900 as
Pennsylvania.F He
died 26 February 1909, Brooklyn, Kings County, N.Y.G
Cause of death: lobar
pneumonia with edema of lung and general asthenai. He is buried in “The
Evergreens Cemetery”, Brooklyn, N.Y.H He married
SUSAN
E. CLARK.I. She was born in March, 1840, in New
Jersey.J She was the
mother of seven (7) children, four (4) of whom were living in 1900. Her
parents were born in England.J She died after 5 June 1900, when the
census was enumerated, and 26 February 1909, when her husband died a
widower.K
