May 10, 1779 - January 9, 1781. To son Jacob, my land, etc, when he is of age and pay to each of my children £70 and provide for his mother Catharine. NOTES ON THIS ENTRY:It seems evident that the extractor of this record copied it incorrectly. The following information was submitted byClarence Shirey, a descendant of Henry. (The original Will is written in German, Joh. "Heinrich" Scher is how the name appears on the Document text. It was written 22 Oct 1783. One witness, Henry Sterner appeared at the Court House on 16 Feb 1864, and the other Felix Frauenfelder not until 24 Dec. The properties adjoined the witnesses farms. The Will itself, has written on the outside of it "Henry Sheiry, deceased, proved Feb. 16, 1784". The man signed with "his mark". The extractor could easily mistaken the "S" for a "T" the way it's written, but be assured it's definitely an "S" when you read the document itself.)

To son Moses the plantation where we now live containing 212 acres "and the mine thereon" until his eldest son John is 21, and then I devise same unto said grandson John BOONE.
Also to son Moses the remaining 1/2 of tract in Alsace.
To daughter.-in-law Sophia BIDDLE 5 shillings, my son John, deceased, being her former husband, having received his full portion from me.
To my four daughters. Anne LINCOLN, Mary LEE, Martha HUGHES and Rachel WILCOCKSON 5 shillings each, their husbands having had deeds for land.
