Boyertown.
Joel Spohn of near Bechtelsville, an employee at the Warwick mine, was stricken with apoplexy while waiting for the train at the P & R depot. His condition is critical.

Bechtelsville.
Joel Spohn, an employee of the Warwick mines at Boyertown, and living near here, fell over at the Boyertown depot, unconscious and was brought to this place by several workman and taken to his home. Dr. Brunner was summoned and is attending him. His entire left side seems to be paralyzed as he cannot move his limbs. He is about 70 years of age.

The funeral of Joel Spohn will take place on Tuesday. Services and internment in Hill Church. Mr. Spohn buried his wife a year and a half ago.
