The Cripliver/Krepliver/Krepleber family from Germany who possibly settled first in your county before moving on to Salt Lick Parish, Bullskin Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania in 1791.
In Fayette County,Pa. they lived very close to the Norrick/Narrick, another German family which also may have settled first in your county.
About 1806 the Criplivers and Norricks settled North Township, Harrison County, Ohio and both raised large families. The children spread into Indiana, Iowa, and Illinois.
I believe the family was in Tulpehocken, Berks Co. in the
1720's. I've read that they didn't like the laws in PA, so many of them moved on to VA (what is now West Virginia).
