George ALBRIGHT, Jr., along with his brother Jacob, sold himself to Mr. Grubbs of Lancaster, PA. to pay his passage. George married Barbara CRADLEBAUGH prior to Revolutionary War and served in the war. I know of only one child, David who later settled in OH then IN. George, Jr. eventually settled on Dunkins Island in Perry County, PA. where he spent the remainder of his life. Jacob ALBRIGHT was reputed to be the founder of the Albright Church. All this information came from a family history. Does anyone have information to prove or disprove any of the above facts? Who did Jacob marry? Know of any offspring of either George, Jr. or Jacob? Where are either George or Jacob buried? I have found bits and peices and no proof. Help!

My 4th great grandma was named Elizabeth Wenrich b- 9-2-1818 and died
6-3-1901.She was married to Augustus ZERBE and both are buried at the
Christ Lutheran church in Stouchsburg,Berks county,Pa. In Elizabeth's
obit. she has 4 sisters all of advanced age who were surviving,BUT it
didn't give any names. I am trying to find Elizabeth's parents and had
heard a rumor from another researcher that John the third had 5
daughters, but someone located this material and since there were no
sons, didn't bother to record it as they were ONLY daughters.! I need to
locate their births.I already wrote to the church at Little Tulp and got
very little info, just the burials I already had .Christ Lutheran had a
fire many years ago, plus some of their records are missing, I wrote
there too! Any help greatly appreciated in finding the children of John
Wenrich the third. There is no will for this John WENRICH.I already
checked Berks co.There is a different John WENRICH who died around the same time.

I am searching for information on the family of John SPRINGER who died in Colebrookdale Twsp in 1830. In his will he named his wife Catharina, sons Jacob and Daniel, and daughters Maria[ wife of Abraham SHELLY]Elizabeth[ wife of Jacob WEISE]and Catharina[ wife of John HENTRICKS]]. also mentioned as a child is John SMITH? possibly a husband of an already deceased daughter? John had a plantation in Colebrookdale at the time of his death. Has anyone come across this SPRINGER family in their research? Any help or suggestions that you may offer would be greatly appriciated.

Seeking any info on Israel L. Shirk (1823-1891). Might have been the illegitimate son of Helen Luft? of Churchtown, although we can neither confirm nor deny this. Could have also come from East Coccalico Township. Earliest found record is 1860 census listed as Sirk (Spring Township). Was married three times. Buried at Sinking Spring Cemetary. Any leads would be greatly appreciated as we have really hit the wall with our research.

For the last 5 years I've been researching the ancestory of Abraham Moon/Mohn/Mohon who was born on 4-6-1771 and died in Garret County Maryland in 1847. The search has been unsuccessful beyond that point. There is information to believe Abraham may have been the son of Vernor Mohn who arrived in Berks County aboard the Ship Elizabeth in 1733. However, we can't find anything to corroborate. Please review the following and let me know if you have any information on this line.
Mike Moon at beachdog16@aol.com.
1700 Johann Michael Crowl/Grauel was born in Langenselbold, Hesse, Germany and died in
1778 in Straban Twp. York (Now Adams County Pa.
1700 Johannes Mohn born in Germany and died 9/1764 in Pa.
1720 Johann (John) Hendrich (Henry) Six Jr. was born to Johann Heinrich John Henry) Sixt in
Schoharie County NY. The senior Sixt is from Marienfels, Hesse-Nassau, Germany. The jr. is
the father of Abraham''s first wife, Sohpia.
1726 Vernor/Werner Mohn born in Germany to Johannes & Anna Margaretha (Hack) Mohn. .
1729 Anna Catarina Crowl/Grauel born in Germany.
8/27/1733 Verner Mohn at the age of 6 was on the ship Elizabeth''s registry and arrived at Berks
County Pa. along with Johannes Mohn, Johan Michael Crowl (or Crowley, Gauel, Gaul or
Grauel) and they all came from Langeselbold, Hesse, Germany. Also on the ship was Johan
Michael Crowl/Grauel''s daughter named Anna Catarina Crowl/Grauel who was 3. I understand
that Anna and her brother Conrad may have died during the
trip but their parents may have had other children and named them Anna Catarina and Conrad as
well.
1736 Another Johan Michael Grauel arrived on the Ship Harle.
1737 The Mohns settled in Cumru at what is now called Mohn''s Hill, in Spring Township,
Berks County.
1740 Another Caterina Crowl/Grauel was born to Johan Michael Crowl/Grauel and Anna Maria
Crowl/Grauel. This may have been the Catherina who later married Verner Mo (Mohn)?
1752 Werner Mohn is taxed as a married man in Cumru Twp, Berks County Pa.
1/29/1759 Sarah Mohn/Moon was born
1760 George Mohn/Moon was born in Pa.
9/1764 One researcher has Johannes Mohn dying at this time. Was this Johannes Verner
Mohn''s father?
1770 A deed on record in Berks County Court House has a sheriff sale in 1770 for property
purchased by Werner in 1768 from the Conrad Weiser estate in what was then Heidelberg
Township, Berks County. In the deed, Werner was described as being deceased. (I don''t have
any documentation to support this deed, just a message from a Mohn researcher)

1783 George Moon is found in the Pa. archives tax record for Northumberland
County Va. He was listed next to John (Johannes) Moon, who is believed to be George's father.
3/6/1785 Sarah Moon married Johannes Meyer at the Evangelical Lutheran Church,
Frederick, Frederick County Md. Sarah was possibly born in
1759 to John (Johannes) Moon
(Mohn)?

1788 From ""The Personal Property Tax Lists for the year 1787 for Loudoun County Va, Verner

oldest children, Johannes (b. 1791) and Jacob (b. 1793) were christened at the New Jerusalem

1799 Abraham''s first wife, Sophia Six from Frederick County Maryland, died and he remarried
Mary Hull. Mary''s father was one of the early settlers in Cumberland, Maryland before 1800.
Abraham and Mary are listed in Benjamin Hull''s will in about 1809. Land grants were given to
Benjamin
