I am looking for information on a Hilbert family--father Daniel and wife Rebecca. Their daughter, Rebecca, is listed as having been born in Berks Co., PA (from a death record I believe). Approximate birth year is 1824. The family moved to Canton, OH in 1826/27. There are one or two older children born before Rebecca. The wife, Rebecca, is also listed as birthplace PA about 1802 in the 1850 census. Father, Daniel, about the same age. Wonder if anyone has come across these names and dates in their Hilbert research. A son, Daniel, (my line) was married by a German Lutheran minister in Ohio. Don't know if the church connection was to the Hilbert's or to the brides' family.

Does anyone have any information on George Setley Ringgold , son of William Charles Ringgold and Catharine Setley? ON the IGI he is listed as being born 4 DEC 1840 in Reading, Berks County, PA.
I have a Morris/Maurice Ringgold who is a son of George Ringgold and Angeline Moyer but am having no luck at tracking them down. Maurice is found in the 1880 Norfolk co., VA census. His marriage record says that George and Angeline are his parents. I am wondering if my Maurice is in the George Setley Ringgold family. THANKS!

Looking for info on the BASHOR, BESHORE clan...( there are about 8 differant spelling in the Berks County area.)
My line comes from Michael Miller Bashor that had land just North of "Rough Hill" out side of Bethal.
Other members of my line include Jonathan Kline Bashor, Calvin Bashor, Israel Beshore, Elias Bashor, Daniel Bashor ( he has a tavern by "Little Mtn." on the road to PineGrove in Schuylkill County).
There are more...too numerous to list. The ones I listed are shown in land maps of MILLERSBURG...now Bethal.
Most should be buried with family in the BASHOR cemetary, that is located by the old MERKEY Meeting House. I believe it's an old COB church.
ANY info is welcome...

I am trying to find marriage information on the following individuals:
Henry Niederauer/Netherow/Nedrow born: 1779 and died 1827 in Berks County. A Henry Nedrow died in 1827 and lived in Somerset County, PA. This Henry probably moved back to Berks County before he died. He married a Mary ? and had ten children. The baptism record for Henry Niederauer from Longswamp, Berks County, PA indicates that he was the son of Michael and Magdalena (Mertz?) Niederauer. Do not know the date of Henry and Mary's marriage or location.
Jacob Niederauer born: 1781, son of Michael and Magdalena Niederauer, from Long Swamp. This Jacob stayed in Eastern Pennsylvania--Bucks County.
Record of Jacob Niederauer/Netherow/Nedrow born: about 1760, son of the immigrant, Michael Niederauer 1714-1775 and Anna Margaretha (Klein) Niederauer 1724-1794. His wife in Somerset County is Elizabeth--surname probably Braun. Do not have a marriage date or location for them.
Abraham Niederauer born: 1783, son of Jacob and Elizabeth Niederauer/Netherow/Nedrow. Abraham Nedrow was in Somerset County, PA 1810-1832 then went to Tuscarawas County, OH. He was probably married twice. Trying to confirm this. I have the first marriage to Nancy and the second marriage to Mary Wilhelm. I do not have the dates. Different sources state that Nancy maiden name was either Kitzmiller or Coons/Kuntz/Koontz.
I would appreciate any help on dates of marriage and confirmation of wife's maiden names.

Looking for parents of Sarah Walters born 12 Apr 1835 in Pennsylvania, possibly Berks County, PA but not sure of County.
She died 17 Feb 1881 at Lizton, in Hendricks County, Indiana and married Reuben Scott there in 1854. I have searched the census in 1850 but do not find her listed here with any family.
Since I don't know what county for sure I can't very well check the census for PA in 1850 as I would have to order each one separately to have them send it here. If anyone would be so kind as to check for me I would appreciate it.

Hello!
I am seeking information on Frederick Haefele or Heffle (spelling may vary) who lived in Amity Twp., Berks Co. in 1860. He married Justina Ruth of Greshville, Berks Co. on June 16, 1860 in Reading Trinity Lutheran Church. Justina was the daughter of Peter Ruth. She also had a brother, Peter. I do not know her mother's name or of any additional siblings. Justina's obituary of 1909 stated her brother Peter lived in Pottstown.
Both Frederick and Justina were born in Germany.
Shortly after their marriage, the Haefele's relocated to Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne Co., where they remained until their death. One of their older sons, Joseph was born in Berks Co., but I don't know where. He then moved from Wilkes-Barre to Nebraska. Their daughter, Katherine, is my great grandmother.
I am interested in any information on the Haefele/Ruth families as well as the location of both Amity Twp. and Greshville. They are not easy to identify via map. I would like to be able to contact a record house or government facility which might hold information for people who lived in these areas between 1845 and 1860.
Thank you.
