1 October 1797, John Findlay and wife Agnes of Peters, to Mary Brownson and
Nathen Brownson, her son, of same place. Richard Brownson, late of Peters
died seized of certain lands in Peters, joining lands of Walter McKinnie,
James McKinnie and Samuel Findlay, situated on Conococheague Creek, died
intestate; land vested in children and legal heirs, subject to dower of
widow, Mary Brownson. Agnes Findlay is legal heir of Richard Brownson.
