William Coxe of Philadelphia to Samuel Finley of Cumberland County,

THIS INDENTURE made the second Day of June Anno Domini one thousand Seven
hundred& Sixty Seven Between William Coxe of the City of Philadelphia
Merchant of the first part & Samuel Finley of Cumberland County Surveyor of
the Second part WHEREAS Proprietaries of Pennsylvania did Grant a Certain
Warrant to the said William Coxe bearing date the Eighteenth Day of february
1765 for three hundred Acres of Land in Pexton Township Lancaster County
said to be Improved by John Killon(?) and WHEREAS Afterward Appeared that
the said John Kellon Improvements and all the Lands in the said Warrant were
Surveyd and pattented to other People on which the said Property was granted
a Location order dated August the thenth 1765 Confirmed by the Honourable
John Penn Esqr to locate and (?) other three hundred Acres in Lieu
thereof in the Warrior Valley in Cumberland County Joining on the South East
End of the Propretaries (?) at the foot of Tussoy(?) Mountain on
which said Location order there is surveyed five hundred & two Acres or
thereabouts to the said William Coxe by Survey dated the thirteenth day of
May 1766 and Returned into the Surveyor Generals Office by Richard Teal
Deputy Surveyor Now this Indenture WITNESSETH that the said William Coxe for
and in Consideration of Seven pounds ten shillings to him in hand paid by
the said Samuel Finley being for the one Moitry(?) of the Province Money to
the Proprietaria the Receipt whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof
doth discharge the said Samuel Finley his heirs & Assigns HATH granted
bargained sold Released & Confirmed & by these presents doth grant bargain
sell release and Confirm to the said Samuel Finley his heirs & Assigns all
that Moietry(?) or half part of the said Warrant Location Acres & Land
thereon Surveyed Beheld(?) and Bounded as follows Viz. BEGINNING at a Corner
post thence Extending by the Reverend Francis Misons(?) land South Thirty
three degrees & a half East two hundred & three perches to a post thence
Extending by other part of the said five hundrend & two Acre Tract North
thirty five Degrees East two hundred & fifty eight perches to a post thence
Extending by Vacant Land North fifty degrees West one hundred & Eighty six
perches to Another post thence Extending by the foot of Tussey Mountain
South thirty six degrees West two hundred perches to the place of Beginning
Containing two hundred & fifty three Acres & Nineteen perches of land with
the usual(?) allowance for Highway TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said Moiety(?) of
the said Warrant Location order & Land above Described unto the said Samuel
Finley his heirs & Assigns to the only proper use & Behoof of him the said
Samuel Finley his heirs & Assigns forever Subject only to the Proprietaries
and their Officers Dues for the hereby Granted Premisses IN WITNESS Whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the Day and Year first above Written

Pennsylvania Came the above Named Coxe and Acknowledged the above Written
Indenture to be his Act & Deed and desired the same may be Recorded as his
