KNOW all Men that I James Finley of Carlisle in the County of Cumberland
Administrator for the Estate of Robert Finley Deceased for and in Consideration
of the Sum of Twenty five pounds four Shillings and three pence (?) in hand
paid before the Sealing and Delivery of these presents by Samuel Rippey of
Shippensburg and County aforesaid Province of Pennsylvania the Receipt whereof I
do hereby Acknowledge have Bargained and Sold unto the said Samuel Rippy a
Certain Tract of Land late the Property of Robert Finley together with the
improvements thereon made Situate by the Lands of Jacob Snively on the west and
on the Dry Spring and the land of Francis Urry(?) in Guilford Township To have
and to hold all and Singular the said Bargained Premisses unto the said Samuel
Rippy his Exr::Admr:: or Assigns for ever the whole Containing by
Computation 500
Acres and the said James Finley for my Self my heirs Exr::Adm:: all the said
Land
and Improvement unto the said Samuel Rippy his Exr::Admr:: and Assigns
against me
the said James Finley my Exr Admr and Assigns and against all and every other
person or persons Whatsoever Shall and will Warrant and for Ever Defend the
proprietor of Pennsylvania only Excepted of which Premises I the Said James
Finley have put the said Samuel Rippy in full possession by Delivery of these
Presents this 28th of April 1764 WITNESS my hand and Seal Witness Present Samuel

the peace for said County James Finly and Acknowledged the above to be his Act
