County Greeting We Command you that you summon John Finley late of your
County yeoman that he be and appear before the Justices of Carlisle at our
County Court of Common pleas there to be held the Twenty second Day of
October next To Answer James Trotter of a plea of Trespass on the Case & And
have you then there this Writ Witness Samuel Smith Esq at Carlisle the
twenty Second Day of July In the Twenty fifth year of our reign

Lands & Tenements of John Finley late of your County Yeoman otherwise Called
John Findly of the province of pennsilvania & of Cumberland County yeoman in
your bailiwich Cause to be made as well a Certain Debt Fifty five pounds Six
Shillings which Robert Findly in our Court before our Justices at Carlisle
lately recovered against him as Two pounds Eleven shillings & Sic pence
which to the said Robert in our same Court were adjudged for his Damages
which he sustained against him by Occasion of the ??? of that Debt where of
the said John in Convict and have you that money before our Justices at
Carlisle at our County Court of Common pleas there to be held the Twenty
third Day of April Next to render tothe said Robert of his Debt and Damage
aforesaid and have you then there this Writ Witness Samuel Smith Esq vs at
Carlisle the Twenty third Day of Jany in the Twenty year of our Reign.

your County yeoman if he be found in your Bailiwich and hime safely keep so
that you may have his Body before out Trustees at Carlisle at our County
Court of Common pleas There to be held the Nineteenth Day of April Next to
Answer James Finly of a plea of Trespass on the Case & and have you then
there this Writ Witness John Armstrong Esq. at Carlisle the twenty second
day of January In the Third Year of our Reign

McNear one black Stalion one Roan'd horse with a white bald in his face &
one Waggon & Geers for four horse which James Finley took and unjustly
detained against Sureties & safe pledges and have you the said James Finley
before our Justices at Carlisle at out County Court of Common pleas there to
be held the twenty fourth day of July Next to Answer David McNear of a pleas
of taking & unjustly Detaining his said Good vc and have you then there this
Writ Witness John Armstrong Esq at Carlisle the twentyeth day of April in
the fourth Year of our Reign
