Carlisle for the County of Cumberland the 21st day of July in the Twenty
Sixth Year of the Reign of our Soverign Lord King George the Second over
Great Britain viz; Before Saml Smith Esq & his Associate Justices viz; AD
1752 The Sheriff viz Ezekial Dunning Esq. Return the Writ of Venire to him
directed & there upon the following persons were returned on the Grand Jury viz

the Sum of Ten Pounds and stand committed until Fine & Fees are paid.

Upon the Petition of the inhabitants of Letterkenny township to the Court
setting forth that key laborer under great inconvenience for a Road
beginning at James Fultons to the Rocky Spring Meeting House and praying the
court to appoint men to view and lay out a road from James Fultons to Rocky
Spring meeting House the nearest and best way. The court do appoint John
Bevins, Samuel Thompson, Joseph Swan, William Lindsay, Sr., Joseph Easton
and John Finley to view the premisses above mentioned and that they or any
four of them if they see necessary lay out the same by courses and distances
the most usefull for the Public and least injurious to private property and
make report to the next court.

five shilling in pursuance of the acts of Assembly in such Case made and
provided.

serve the said James Findlay his said master or his assigns the further time
of seven months over and above the time specified in said Indenture
Compensation for runaway time and Expenses viz. amounting to four pounds
twelve shillings in pursuance of the acts of Assmebly in such Case made and
provided.
