THREE TRADITIONAL MINERS POST BOND IN COAL HEARING

Pittsburgh, Aug. 2 -- (UP) Three additional coal miners, indicted by a Federal grand jury [sic] for violation of the War Labor Disputes Act, appeared at the U. S. Clerk of Courts' [possessive, sic] office here today and posted $1,000 bond each.

Their appearance left only three miners of the 30 indicted who have not yet appeared.  Two others, a man and wife accused of intimidating a witness, also have posted bond for trial.

The three men who appeared today are Ewing BELL, Elco [Pa], president of the Crescent 
No. 2 local, Andrew Cairns, of Roscoe [Pa], a committeeman, and Kenneth WRIGHT, of Stockdale [Pa], a committeeman.

The 30 men will be arraigned for pleas August 9 and a special trial will be held beginning September 1.
