Officer... 12-17-1821 NOTE: These notices usually had a date after it, for the date the notice or advertisement was placed. Sometimes there is a letter/number "code" also, presumably for use by the newspaper office to keep files of subscribers placing the notice/ad (?). A "code" might be "T-d1" or other such combinations. R. Officer is probably Robert Officer.
