Article from The Daily Reporter newspaper, Washington Co., Pa., June 6, 1936, p. 7:
"Wedding of Young People Announced - Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Moore,
of Meadowlands, announce the marriage of their daughter Kathryn M. Moore
to Archie William Hall of Washington, R. D. 1. The ceremony took place
Wednesday, June 3, at Wellsburg, W. Va., with the Rev. Joel L. Wade
officiating."
"Doerfler-Hootman Wedding May 15 - At a miscellaneous shower
recently, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hootman, of Buffalo, announced the marriage
of their daughter, Lynette, to Charles Doerfler, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Doerfler, of 75 Caldwell avenue, Washington. The ceremony was
performed at Wellsburg, W. Va., May 15, 1936, by the Rev. Edward A.
K*app [Knapp ?], D. D., minister of the First Presbyterian Church. The
attendants were Jerleane Davis and Harold Mitchell. Both the bride and
the bridegroom attended Trinity High School. They will be at home to
their friends at 890 West Chestnut street, Washington."
