+ 26 viii. Estella Beaumont, born December 17, 1862; died July 17, 1947. She married John Oliver Brown, with whom she had children: Nora, Florence, Elmer, Ruth, Pearl and Mahlor. She them married WIlliam Kerr Holmes.
27. Martha Beaumont, born 1870, was originally believed to be another daughter of Walker Beaumont. However, we have learned differently, and now know that she was a granddaughter born to Amelia Beaumont before she married Moses Lewis..**
* Note: The obituary for Sarah (Beaumont) Shaver indicates that she had another living sister at the time of Sarah's death in 1934. That sister was married to Douglas Russell Lattimer of Binghamton, NY. The Federal census for Binghamton, Broome County, NY in 1930 gives her the first name of Josephine, age 71 at that time, although we believe this is a mistranscription of her real age of 77. This conclusion is based on definitive evidence that "Gosline", listed as a "male" born in 1853 above, is actually Josephine, a female, born April 26, 1853. A complete summary of the evidence can be found at the aforementioned Wilber Family history.
** Note: This name is also incorrect. "Permelia" is actually "Amelia", later the wife of Moses Lewis. Amelia, and
her daughter, Martha, Beaumont married Moses and Robert Lewis, brothers, respectively. According to Cindy Coppock, a Lewis family historian,
Amelia already had a daughter named Martha when she married Moses Lewis. So, Robert Lewis married his step-niece, Martha Beaumont, daughter of Amelia Beuamont.

Eliza never had any children herself, as indicated in the 1900 Federal census for Tuscarora Township, Bradford County, PA, where she is shown married for 15 years and having no offspring. However, her husbands had both been in prior marriages, and she therefore "acquired" dependents in this manner.
George L. Wakeley was married to Eve E. Montgomery (born about 1852) and they had the following children:
53 i. John Burton Wakely
+53a ii. Bradley Emerson Wakely, born Janaury 7, 1879 and died 1958; married Harriet E. Jacques, daughter of Charles and Alice Jacques, born in 1878, on August 15, 1899 in
Wyalusing, PA. They appear to have then moved to Waterbury, CT, where they are found with his older brother, John Burton
Wakeley, and her brother in law, Goldy Warden, in the 1900 Federal Census. She is still there as the family household head
in 1910 with at least five children of her own: Ralph, Alice, Ferris, Caroline A. and Anna Severson Wakeley. She is still
there as a household head in 1920, but is working as a servant with her daughter Caroline in 1930 in the household of Chinese-born George King.
Meanwhile, Bradley has disappeared, but resurfaces in 1920 as a roomer in the Federal Census for Elmira, NY and then in 1930 in the
Federal Census for Towanda, PA as a boarder with his brother John Burton and John Burton's second wife, Melva (Ferrell) Wakeley. Note that Eliza's brother, James W. Beaumont, and his second wife were also
living in Waterbury about 1900 or soon thereafter, so there was some common family pull to Connecticut.

James Monroe Wakeley was first married to Ida Bethiah Drake (May 11, 1856-December 16, 1906). Their children were Clayton Irwin (1882-1962), Homer, Cora and Raymond Wakeley.
Several of the members of the two Wakeley families in which Eliza Hannah Beaumont was a spouse and mother are buried at the Spring Hill Cemetery in Laceyville, PA.

He was born March 17, 1852, son of Jonathan D. and Elizabeth Brown, and died July 17, 1897 in South Creek, Bradford County, PA of black diphtheria [actually recorded at the Bradford County Courthouse on December 13, 1897]. (1) He was one of at least four children of Jonathan D. and Elizabeth Brown of Wyalusing, PA, the others being Hiram, Harry C. and Daniel Brown. All appear in the 1870 Federal Census for Wyalusing. Johnathan D. Brown was the son of Oliver Brown of Wyalusing and Mary Walles of Stonington, CT.
(2) He appears to have been living in a boarding house in Forks Township, Sullivan County at the time of the
1880 federal census. The partial census record is as follows:
