Miss Edyth Thrasher of Albany Valley died Tuesday night of a short illness at her home.

She is survived by two sisters, Miss Lydia & Anna at home, and one brother George Thrasher of Mildred.

Funeral service will be held from her late home on Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment in Zion Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in the family plot.

Lydia M. Thresher, 83, passed away at her home in Albany Valley Thursday afternoon following a short illness.

The daughter of the late Stephen and Caroline Kinsley Thresher, she was born in Albany twp and spent all of her life in that area. She was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical United Brethren Church of Dushore.

Surviving are three nephews, Irvin, and Theodore Thresher of Elmira, and Archie Thresher of Mildred.

Funeral services were held at the Tubach Funeral Home in Dushore. Rev. L.R. Fuhrman officiating. Interment in Zion Lutheran Cemetery at Dushore.

Married Theresa Stavisky on August 7, 1959; she was born September 29, 1912; daughter of Anthony & Julia (Stetz) Stavisky; she died May 1988; buried in St. Vladimir’s Cemetery, Lopez, PA

Miss Anna Thresher, 65, of Dushore RD, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Thresher, died at the Robert Packer hospital in Sayre Saturday morning after a short illness. She is survived by one sister, Lydia at home, and four nephews, Earl Thresher of Waverly, N.Y., Irvin of Athens, Theodore of the Army Medical Corps in England and Archie of an Army training camp in Mississippi.

Miss Thresher has lived in the Albany Valley community all her life and was very well known around that section.

The funeral will be at the home at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Rev, Glenn Alderhold of Dushore Evangelical church will officiate. Burial will be in the Thresher cemetery.
