ANNIE ELLEN LANDBACK (HARVEY, JOHN) was born February 18, 1867 in Pennsylvania (probably Cherry Township, Sullivan County), and died July 10, 1905 in Wilkes-Barre, PA. She married CHARLES EDWARD HUNSINGER January 28, 1890 in Waverly, NY, son of CATHARINE KESTER.

Buried in Thrasher Cemetery, Dushore, PA. Hair was dark brown. A letter addressed to Annie Hunsinger & "Brother" was sent to her in April 1898 in Bradford County, Athens, PA, c/o A. Silverstrim. This was sent by her sisters Linda and Amanda from Colley, PA. Linda said she was "up home" on April 24, 1898, Sunday.

Notes for CHARLES EDWARD HUNSINGER:

Buried in Maple Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas. To reach grave, go in 2nd gate (one next to office), Block 11, 3 rows East and 100 feet north. Is buried with his two sons. Died at the home of his daughter, Caroline Hunsinger Stewart. Some time after the death of his wife in Pennsylvania, he went to Hooker, OK with his children and finally settled in Kansas City, Kansas. He and Annie were married in Waverly, NY because no license was required there. After Annie's death, he moved back from Waverly to Colley where her relatives lived. Her sisters helped with kids. Charles appears as head of a household in the 1900 U.S. Census of Colley Township, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania with his wife Anna E. and three children.

CAROLINE MAE HUNSINGER (ANNIE ELLEN LANDBACK, HARVEY, JOHN) was born October 5, 1898 in Cherry Township, Colley, PA, and died April 19, 1971 in Kansas City, MO. She married ANDREW RUSSELL STEWART, September 4, 1915, son of BENJAMIN STEWART and CLORA PAYNE.

Buried in Maple Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas. Left eastern U.S. about Nov. 1, 1908. This was stated on an affidavit for her birth certificate by Linda Winslow (her aunt). This was the date Linda last saw her. Funeral services were held at George F. Porter & Sons Funeral Home, Kansas City, Kansas.

Worked for Colgate Palmolive Peet from 1908 until his retirement on August 1, 1953. Buried in Maple Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas. Lived at 7706 Indiana at the time of his mother's death in 1949. 1900 census taken on June 1st indicated he lived in Greene Township, Polk County, MO. He was enumerated in the family of his parents. Funeral services were held at George F. Porter & Son Funeral Home.

Died June 22, 2002 at North Kansas City Hospital, MO of respiratory failure. Was cremated and ashes entombed in burial urn column in Maple Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas.
