This is a circa 1869 photograph of Adam Cook's, two story stone house in Glencoe, Northampton Township, Somerset County. It was the only house of its kind in the region. Elizabeth Hoyman Cook - wife of Jesse Cook of Wellersburg, PA. Photo was taken in the 1880s/90s, probably in Southampton Twp. Born 27 Jul 1808/18, died 26 Aug 1900, daughter of Henry Hoyman Sr (1785-1850) and his first wife Elizabeth Uhl (1789-1823).
