Gardner Cemetery

Situated in Jenner Twp., Somerset Co., Pa., on the farm of Mr. Bash about 30 rods east of the buildings in a field occupied by Henry Zimmerman.

Said to contain about 25 bodies apparently the stones have been taken up and are not buried or covered over by deposits of ground hiding them, only one of which was found. The stones were apparently lain down to facilitate farming the field.

The burial ground was found containing the following inscription:
Elizabeth Gardner d/o J.G. d. 1841.
