This structure, over 1900 feet long and more than 100 feet high at the highest point carried trains over US Route 219, the B&O Railroad, and the Casselman River.
Construction was started in the spring of 1910 and was completed in 1912. The first train over this section of railroad was on August 12, 1912, a Thursday.
Unused, this section is part of the proposed hiking and biking trail, joining the existing trail at Confluence, PA, and the C&O canal towpath near Cumberland, MD.
