and is a view of the rear of the Mahanoy City High School
- notice the bridge railing over the creek on E. Market Street.

The postcard at the bottom is undated,
but shows the front of the Mahanoy City High School at 5th and E. Centre Street.
The school was torn down and now is a community park.
The home to the left of the school was Dr. Ivor Fenton's office
