The postcard at top is dated August 31, 1908
and shows the Pine Street Elementary School
which was located in the 200 block of East Pine Street.

Today the site is the home of the Mahanoy City Municpal Building
and houses the City Council Chambers and the Police Department.
The photo was taken in September 1988.
