This photo is of the shopping district.

The large red brick building at right of photo was the Friedberg Building.
The telephone operators use to work on the upper floors of this building.

The stores at left of photo were J.J. Newberry Store;
Woolworth Building; and the Union National Bank.

Further on the left is the Family Theatre
located at 2nd and E. Centre St. (now site of the Mini Market)
