I MISS HIM
By Mildred Gordon
I miss him , oh so many ways,
Through all the nights and all the days.
I miss his gentle, loving touch,
That told me I was loved so much.
A loving pat as he walked by...
No need to speak, for I knew why.
I miss him in his easy chair,
Each night I knew that he'd be there.
A dear companion through the years,
We shared the happiness and tears.
Our lives complete as children came,
We had no wish for wealth or fame.
Happy memories, when true love stays,
I miss him, oh, so many ways.
