I have been trying to locate the burial site of one Jacob LOTT who was living in Pike Co., PA, from about 1835 to at least 1839. There in Pike Co., PA, he filed depositions on behalf of his application for a Rev. War pension application which he was awarded. He collected on this through 1840. However, the last known payment, 1840, was received by his lawyer as legal representative. It is not known if Jacob LOTT was deceased at this time or in a location away from his lawyer. What a wonderful site this has the potential of being! Just found it tonight, and joined your list. My 4th grandparents, Simeon Quick and Mary Thomas both died there in 1878 and 1862, respectively. Their daughter, my 3rd grandmother, Lucinda Quick m. Augustus Ro(d)gers abt. 1844 in Pike Co., and most if not all of their 6 children were born there between 1845-1861. I've been researching my lineage for 1 1/2 years and on one side can't get beyond my 3rd G-grandfather who is said to have lived in Pike County in late 1700's .
