In
the name God amen, I David Lytle being of sound mind and memory blessed
by god for the same and being Desirous of setting my worldly property
whareby god hath intrusted me with while I have strength capasity so to
do do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby making
all other wills by me at any other time made. I commit my soul to god
who gave it and my body to earth to be intered in a decent and
Christian manner, I will and bequeathe to my son William the sum of one
dollar, I will and bequeath to my son John one Dollar and all my
wearing clothing, I will and bequeath to my son Isaac the sum of one
dollar. I will and bequeathe to my daughter Marth Baggs one dollar, I
will and bequeathe to my daughter Haney Cafredy onr dollar, I will and
bequeathe to my daughter Catherin and elizajane fifty dollars each to
be paid in five equal payments in trade commencing three years after my
death and also all my household and personal property after my just and
lawful debts are paid.
I will and bequeathe to my soninlaw
Horace Dewey all my real estate and all my farming utentials subject to
the above mentioned payments except my debts whitch are to be paid out
of my personal property and I do herby appoint George Shakely my
executor of this my last will and testament. Witness my hand and seal
this 9th day of april 1849

me Register for the Probate of Wills and in and for said county
John G. Robertson, Daniel Morrison of Pe??? And Sandy Creek township
who being duly sworn according to law did depose and say that they were
requested by the Testator David Lytel sign the said will
and heard him declare the same to be his last will and teatament and at
the time of so doing he was of sound and disposing mind and memory to
the best of their knowledge observation and belief
