Will of Mrs. Sarah Booth 

 I Sarah Booth being weak in body though sound in mind and desirous to commit my soul to God who gave it and my property to my children declare it to be my will and testament that if I now be taken away by death as is anticipated, my son Henry Booth shall be heir to all my property real and personal that is to one third of the whole estate and in consideration of this heirship he shall take charge of the other children keep them together, provide for them giving them a common school education and act as a parent towards them. If Henry should be taken away by death it is my will that Jackson Booth take his place. The care of my baby I commit to Elizabeth Crawford to be raised for which she is to be compensated. The debts being paid the other two thirds of the personal property and of the real estate shall be divided among all my children equally. As executors to execute this my last will I appoint Dr. John J. Hutson and William Dailey.

Note: There were 3 handwritten notes on this copy of the will, presumably made by Mr. F. L. Booth: 1. Sarah was the widow of William Booth of Deleware Twp., Mercer County, Pa. 2. Name of Henry Booth should be Harvey Booth  3. Sarah Booth died April 14, 1837
