Heirs of James Searight
(Sally Searight Booth, Mary Searight Hawthorn, James Searight)
Whereas, JAMES SEARIGHT, late of Mercer County, Pennsylvania, deceased died interstate leaving issue SALLY SEARIGHT, an illegitimate daughter since intermarried with WILLIAM BOOTH; also, MARY SEARIGHT since intermarried with     DAVID HAWTHORN and JAMES SEARIGHT children and heirs at law of the said JAMES SEARIGHT, deceased. Now know all whom it may concern that the said DAVID HAWTHORN and MARY his wife (late MARY SEARIGHT) and JAMES SEARIGHT of the County and State aforesaid in consideration of the natural love and affection which they bear to the said SALLY being born of the same parents and also in consideration of the sum of one dollar to them paid by the said WILLIAM BOOTH and SALLY his wife lately SALLY SEARIGHT. The receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have and by these presents do agree that the said SALLY BOOTH lately SALLY SEARIGHT shall and may have an equal share with the said MARY and JAMES of all the real and personal property or estate of which the said JAMES SEARIGHT did possess or which may in any manner belong to the estate of the said JAMES SEARIGHT deceased as fully and in the same manner as if the said SALLY had been born in lawful wedlock IN testimony of which the said parties have to these presents set their hands and seals the 8th day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty six.

As to JAMES SEARIGHT, WILLIAM AMBERSON, MARY AMBERSON as to DAVID HAWTHORN and MARY HAWTHORN.    Received of WILLIAM BOOTH and wife the sum of one dollar the consideration money herein mentioned within Mercer County, Pa. Before the Subscriber a Judge of the Court in & for the said writing to be his act and deed for the purpose therein _________ and devised that as such it might be recorded.
Given under my hand and seal the 15th day of May A. D. 1826

Before the Subscriber an associate Judge in and for Mercer County appeared, MARY HAWTHORN and being of full age and by ___________ Separate and apart from her said husband acknowledge that she ______________ this instrument of writing of her own free will and accord and without any compulsion or caution of her said husband. The contents of said writing just by me been made hereunto her given under my hand and seal the 15th day of May A.D. 1826.
