matter and instead of leaving it for others to quarrel over think of the future needs of this dear old church.

 

Before closing this sketch something should be said to the efficiency of our choir.  May of those whose voices let us in the praise service have joined the heavenly choir, notably, during this pastorate, Mrs. Nettie Mitchell Christy, whose untiring interest in this part of the service endeared her to us all.  The trustees, with the co-operation of the session have resolved to secure more efficiency in this part of the service.  Those members of the congregation who have in the past so faithfully served us should be gratefully remembered an our present efficient choir, under the leadership of Mr. F. W. McCoy and Mr. J. Frank Ellis should have our hearty support and encouragement.
