sympathy. He was a good preacher and as a Christian he was a
worthy example. His memory is fondly cherished and the good report
he obtained thro' faith will not soon be forgotten by this friends on
earth, nor left unrewarded by his Father in Heaven.
The names of James Hunter and John A. McCurdy were added to the
session during this pastorate. Both of these afterwards dismissed
to the Jamestown church, where they served as elders until their death.
