William
Hancock, 79, died 28 Oct 1935, at Leesburg. He was born 17 May 1856, to
William and Jane Baskerville Hancock, at Audley, Staffordshire, England.
He
married Ellen Hodgkinson, 15 Apr 1885, at Kent Green, Cheshire,
England. He emigrated to Leesburg, Mercer County, in 1906 and worked in
the coal mines and farmed. He was preceded in death by his parents,
brothers and sisters, and daughter, Margaret, all in England.
He
is survived by his wife, sons William, Leesburg, James, New Castle, and
Donald, Corning, New York, daughters, Mary Moors, Leesburg, Jane Jones,
Jackson Center, 9 grandchildren, and 4 ggrandchildren. He will be
buried at Carpenter Cemetery, Springfield, Twp.
