Mrs. William Jackson
Mrs.
Jane Jackson, wife of William Jackson, 485 Lincoln St., died in the
Northside Hospital, Youngstown, O., yesterday [17 Oct 1956] at 5:10
p.m. following a year's illness. Mrs. Jackson, who was 58, had
been a patient at the hospital for the last 25 days.
Mrs.
Jackson, who had lived in Sharon for the last 40 years, was formerly of
Greenville. She was born there on Sept. 17, 1898, a daughter of David
John and Jennie Becker Thomas. She was a member of the St. John's
Episcopal Church, the Woman's Bible Class of the church, the Lucky
Strike Bowling League and the Western Reserve Auxiliary.
Surviving
besides her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Michael Shayuth of Sharon; a
son, David J. Jackson, also of Sharon; two sisters, Mrs. Amos
Kissinger, R. D. 1, Masury, and Mrs. Herbert Habert, South Bend, Ind.,
two brothers, Alvin Thomas, Lorain, O., and Lloyd Thomas of Greenville,
and four grandchildren.
