Mary
Hancock Moors, 63, of Leesburg, died at the home of her daughter, Mary
Joyce Burdette, of RD#1, Stoneboro, on 21 March 1950. Mary was
born 7 Dec 1886 in Goldenhill, Staffordshire, England, to William and
Ellen Hodgkinson Hancock. She married Albert Moors 08 June 1908 in the
parish church of Odd Rode, Chechire, England. She came to Mercer Co,
the same month. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughters
Margaret Evaline, Phyllis Ellen, Kathleen Susan and son Albert Donald,
and her parents. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Joyce Burdette,
Elizabeth Lewis, Winifred Madge Whited, and Isobel Anderson, and son
Robert William Moors. She will be buried 24 March 1950 at Leesburg
Cemetery.
